Making Progress
Working away on my New York Beauty rug. Actually made quite a bit of progress this week. I went to Loopy Ladies Rug Hooking last Wednesday, and that got me jazzed up to work. I've been able to fit in little ten- and fifteen-minute hooking sessions a lot. Surprisingly, you get a lot of work accomplished that way.

Gorgeous!! Love the bright colors.
I've seen this design done dozens of times in quilts, but never as a hooked rug - it looks fantastic! Those sharp little points would be my downfall on this project!
This looks like quite a project. How on earth do you get those points so sharp. Great job. JB

The points are the toughest part, and there are so many of them! Just know they look better from a distance!
