Binding

I've begun the process of binding my cigar store sign rug. I'm using a 100% wool yarn leftover from a vest I made for my husband. Giving the rug a nice, subtle edge. I use Gene Shepard's method for binding. Love the way it finishes up so neatly. I'll show you the front once it's finished!

Color Palettes

I've been laid up for the last month with very painful bursitis in both hips. Got three shots of cortisone today, so hopefully that will do the trick!

Have been hooking away on my cigar rug and also thinking about color palettes.

Happy Spring

Today is the first day of Spring (and also my birthday)! When I was younger, I thought I must have something to do with Spring arriving, but alas, Mother Nature takes care of that. Hope you are all loving the beautiful weather most of the country seems to be enjoying. Here are two images of Spring to brighten your day.
